Police seek armed robbery suspect

Metairie, La.- Police are looking for 37-year-old Jesse Dover in connection to an armed robbery that occurred at a pharmacy.

The incident happed Friday around 3:45 p.m. in the 6400 block of Airline Drive.

Investigators say Dover attempted to fill a prescription for narcotics that was expired. Dover then jumped over the pharmacy counter and threatened to beat the pharmacist with brass knuckles if he did not surrender the narcotics. 

The pharmacist complied and the suspect fled.  

Dover was last seen driving away in a blue 2002 Chevrolet pick-up with a Louisiana license plate reading X077130.   

Police believe Dover is homeless and possibly living in this vehicle.  

Anyone with information on Dover's whereabouts is asked to call CRIMESTOPPERS at 822-1111.
