Woman arrested in boyfriend's death

RUSTON, La. (AP) - Lincoln Parish sheriff's deputies have arrested a 44-year-old Ruston woman in the death of her boyfriend.

Sheriff Mike Stone says deputies were called around 7 a.m. Wednesday in home where 49-year-old Fredrick P. Abney was found dead.

After processing the scene and interviewing numerous people, Stone says investigators arrested Cynthia D. Jenkins and booked her into Lincoln Parish Detention Center on a manslaughter charge.

Stone said Abney's body was sent to Little Rock for an autopsy.
