FOX- A new study finds you're more likely to die on your birthday.

A swiss study analyzed 2.4 million deaths over a 40 year period.  Results showed there were nearly 14 percent more deaths on birthdays, when compared with any other day of the year.

That risk increased with age, jumping to 18 percent in people over the age of 60.

A 35 percent rise in birthday suicides among men was also noted, as well a 28 percent increase in accidental deaths, and a 44 percent rise in fatal falls on birthdays.

This study was published in the "Annals of Epidemiology."
