Vitt provides updates on Romeus, Daniel injuries

Metairie, LA - Interim Head Coach Joe Vitt provided injury updates on Defensive End Greg Romeus and Quarterback Chase Daniel following the final OTA practice.

Vitt said that Romeus injured his non-surgically-repaired knee on Monday while running. He suffered injuries to his ACL and MCL and will miss 6-8 months.

Daniel injured his throwing hand after hitting it on a helmet. Vitt described the injury is as a sprain with a slight hairline fracture. He will not be able to throw for about 2 1/2 weeks, but Vitt said that Daniel will be ready in time for training camp.
