Terrebonne Parish, La. - Some mosquitoes found in Terrebonne Parish tested positive for the West Nile virus.
Jessie Bourdreaux Jr., the owner of Cajun Mosquito Control, says he collected the samples earlier this month in the Oaklawn subdivision. Terrebonne Parish contracted Boudreaux's company to control the pest population.
State officials have already said mosquitoes tested positive for West Nile in Tangipahoa.
The state Health Department says, as of now, there are no human cases of the virus in Louisiana.
