New Orleans, La.- The New Orleans Police Department is investigating a shooting near the intersection of Chef Menteur Highway and Downman Road.

It happened around 11 a.m.

A NOPD spokesman says the victim was shot in the leg.

The shooting is still under investigation and details are limited at this time.

Anyone with information on this shooting is asked to call CRIMESTOPPERS at 822-1111.
