Chalmette, La.- A Chalmette man died after an accident in an all-terrain vehicle.
The accident occurred Sunday just after 3:00 p.m.
Police say Kendrick Hills was driving a 4-wheel 2006 Honda 450 CRX in the 3600 block of Pakenham Drive near Nunez Community College when he hit a stop sign.
The all-terrain vehicle then slid and flipped.
Emergency medical technicians tended to Hill, but he was pronounced dead around 4:00 pm.
The St. Bernard Sheriffs Office says speed is believed to be a factor in the crash and Hill wasn't wearing a seatbelt.
All-terrain vehicles can only legally be driven off-road.
