Davis wants to win another title in New Orleans

New Orleans, La. -

New Orleans is almost certain to be Kentucky forward Anthony Davis' professional home. It's a city that's been good to Davis in the past.

Davis helped lead the Kentucky Wildcats to a national championship inside the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in April. It's a feat Davis said he hopes to repeat in the very near future.

"The first thing I said, if I get drafted here, is it would be great to win another championship in New Orleans, " Davis told a group of nearly 50 reporters at the Alario Center Tuesday. "If I got drafted here it would be awesome."

Davis will officially learn his NBA destination on Thursday, June 28.
