Young man shot to death in St. Anthony area

New Orleans, La. -

An 18-year-old man is dead after a shooting in the Gentilly neighborhood of St. Anthony.

It happened shortly Friday afternoon in the 2100 block of Selma Street, near Elysian Fields and Fillmore Avenues.  Investigators tell us the victim called 911 at 4:19 p.m. to say that he was being chased by two African-American males.

Police say they found the victim in the back yard of a home on Selma Street about 4:27 p.m.  They say he had been shot multiple times in the torso. 

Right now, investigators have no motive or suspects in the case.
