Man dies in Terrebonne Parish shooting

Dulac, La. -- Terrebonne Parish deputies responded to a shooting that took place at 9576 Grand Caillou Road in Dulac, La. shortly after 3:30 p.m.

According to a press release from Sheriff Vernon Bourgeois, a verbal altercation between the victim and the suspect occurred.

The suspect then left the scene and later returned with a shotgun. The suspect then proceeded to shoot the victim as he was standing on a shrimp boat that was docked near Jensen Seafood.

Forty-nine-year-old Vo Hung of Houma, La. was pronounced dead on the scene.
