Raceland, La. - A Raceland couple has been arrested for robbing a man playing video poker at a casino Friday night.   The Lafourche Sheriff's office identifies the couple as 31 year old Sidney Roger and 30 year old Rochell Hodges.

Lafourche Sheriff Craig Webre says Hodges walked up to a man playing video poker and grabbed three $10 bills out of the gambler's hand.  Deputies say as she grabbed the money, the bills ripped in half.  Sheriff Craig Webre says Hodges then ran out of the casino on South Service Road in Raceland and jumped into a black convertible with Roger and drove away.

Both were arrested a short time later by deputies after the car was spotted on Twin Oaks Drive in Raceland.

Both Hodges and Roger were transported to the Lafourche Parish Detention Center and were each booked with Simple Robbery.

Roger was also booked with Operating a Vehicle while under Suspension. Judge John Leblanc set Hodges' bond at $25,000 and set Roger's bond at $26,000.
