New Orleans, La. - New Orleans fire investigators try to determine what caused a two-alarm fire at a house in the Treme community early Tuesday morning.

It started around 4:45 a.m. in the 1300 block of Governor Nicholls.  There's no word on what sparked the flames, but neighbors say no utilities were hooked up to the building.

They say it was under renovation.

One firefighter suffered minor injuries after he was struck in the chest by a board.

An NOFD spokesman says they are still working to extinguish any hot spots, but they have the fire under control.

Neighbors say the building is owned by Providence Community Housing.
