New Orleans, La.- Essence Fest kicks off at 3 p.m. Saturday with a Block Party at Champions Square followed by a full night of performances.
Modern R&B performer, Tank , will start off musical performances on the Main Stage at 6:45 p.m. followed by Mary Mary at 7:40 p.m.
Mary J. Blige will close out the night on the Main Stage at 11:40 p.m.
At the Ford Superlounge, festival goers can catch Leah LaBelle at 7:45 p.m. followed by Stephanie Mills at 9 p.m. and Big Sam's Funky Nation at 10:45 p.m.
The Robert Glasper Experiment will start off the night at the Verizon Superlounge at 7:30 p.m. followed by The Stylistics at 9 p.m.
At the Coke Superlounge, the Original Pinettes Brass Band will play at 7:30 p.m. followed by Dru Hill at 8:45 p.m.
Teedra Moses will hit the stage at the McDonalds Superlounge at 7:15 p.m. followed by Eric Roberson at 8:30 p.m.
