Tractor trailer wrecks on Interstate 10 exit ramp

Police at the scene of an 18-wheeler accident Wednesday morning

New Orleans, La. - An 18 wheeler had a little trouble getting off the interstate in New Orleans.

The tractor trailer was exiting Interstate 10 westbound at the Carrollton interchange, headed for Airline Highway. But, the truck didn't make it around the curve on the ramp.

The truck tipped over. The damaged cab came to rest against the guardrail and the trailer toppled onto its side.

Police shut down the ramp while the wreckage was cleared.

The driver was not hurt.
