GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (AP) - Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal will highlight a fundraising luncheon in Grand Island this weekend during the Nebraska Republican state convention.
The Saturday luncheon is sponsored by former U.S. Senate candidate Pete Ricketts, a Nebraska GOP national committeeman.
The fundraiser at the Riverside Golf Club in Grand Island costs $500 per person to attend.
Jindal is among several prominent Republicans mentioned as potential running mates for Mitt Romney this fall. The Louisiana governor also plans to attend the Nebraska Republican state convention.
