Birmingham, Ala. - When LSU begins their 2012 SEC schedule, they'll face an old but familiar foe in Texas A&M, the newest member of the SEC, along with Missouri.

The Aggies' first-year head coach, Kevin Sumlin, said their neighbors provide quite the challenge.

"The game from a proximity standpoint becomes important because the majority of our players that we're recruiting are from Texas or Louisiana," said Sumlin.  "They're in Texas recruiting and we're in Louisiana too so we're both recruiting the same couple of states.  The fight over those kids within that 500 or 600 mile radius is important."

The two teams meet on Saturday, October 20 in College Station.  LSU is set to address the media on Wednesday.
