Board members for the Algiers Charter School System did a turn around and voted Wednesday night against moving two principals at higher performing schools to lower performing schools.

The principals of Martin Behrman and O. Perry Walker will stay put.  Many parents at the meeting applauded the move.

The Algiers Charter School Association is undergoing a major shake-up, with the group's board seeing high turnover and the CEO stepping down.

The board hopes to vote on an interim CEO next week.
