Louisiana Supreme Court begins e-filing

New e-filing system will allow attorneys to file documents with computers-WVUE Photo

New Orleans,La.- The Louisiana Supreme court is giving attorneys new high tech options.

August first the state's high court will launch a new system of voluntary electronic filing for documents from attorneys.

The system gives attorneys 24 hour access.

But, the added convenience comes at a price. E-filing will carry a fee in addition to the normal court filing costs.
