MCNEILL, Miss. (AP) - Authorities say they have discovered two homemade bombs that may have been booby traps at a Pearl River County home where a meth lab appeared to be operating.
Sheriff David Allison tells The Sun Herald the Biloxi Bomb Squad dismantled the devices Tuesday.
Allison says county narcotics agents had been conducting surveillance on a home in McNeil and entered the property on Tuesday morning.
Allison says a deputy saw what appeared to be an active meth lab. A more thorough search of the property turned up what appeared to be booby traps.
Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms agent Joel Lee said the bomb squad dismantled the devices.
Authorities continue to investigate but had made no arrests.
