New Orleans Saints owner Tom Benson met with NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell Tuesday to discuss Saints related issues.
Sr. Vice President of Communications Greg Bensel released a statement saying, "Today, Mr. Benson visited with Commissioner Goodell in New York. It was a very productive meeting and he looks forward to having many more discussions with the commissioner on specific Saints related issues as well as league-wide issues."
NFL spokesman Greg Aiello would not confirm the meeting or what it was about, saying the league doesn't comment on meetings.
