Haircuts to help homeless SPCA
Getting a haircut this weekend in Uptown, New Orleans can help the plight of homeless animals. Its the "50 Haircuts in 50 States in 50 days," campaign and all you have to do is show-up this Saturday.
World record holder and master stylist Patrick Lomantini has teamed up with the Louisiana SPCA to provide the haircuts.
The campaign is a 50-day ultimate road trip with a stop in each state for a full day of haircuts, to raise funds for local shelters. The Louisiana SPCA will benefit from this unique event to raise funds to assist it in fulfilling its mission of eliminating animal suffering. A suggested donation of $20 is asked for each haircut.
You can also freely give other donation amounts as well to the organization.
Money raised goes towards purchasing equipment and food needed to care for the homeless animals at the Louisiana SPCA.
The event takes place this Saturday August 18th from 8-am to 8p-m at the Paris Parker Salon at 5434 Magazine Street.
