Baton Rouge, La. - A Houma man faces multiple charges involving crimes against children.
Louisiana Attorney General Buddy Caldwell announced Friday that a Terrebonne Parish grand jury indicted Scott Massey with two counts of aggravated rape, six counts of molestation of a juvenile under the age of 13, and eight counts of production of child pornography of a child under the age of 13.
Caldwell says the 35-year-old man was arrested earlier this year by the Attorney General's High-Tech Crime Unit.
If convicted of the rape charges, Massey faces a sentence of mandatory life imprisonment at hard labor without the benefit of probation, parole or suspension of sentence.
If convicted of the molestation and pornography counts, he would face the possibility of up to 99 years on each of the remaining 14 counts.
Massey is currently being held on a $12 million bond.
