Woman arrested in Baton Rouge stabbing

BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - A woman accused of stabbing another woman 13 times during a fight at a Baton Rouge gas station in June has been arrested.

The Advocate reports 28-year-old Sharifa Price of Baton Rouge was booked Wednesday night with attempted second-degree murder.

Police say the victim was approached by Price and another woman at the gas station, and the three got into an argument over Price's new boyfriend at the time who was an ex-boyfriend of the victim.

Authorities say the victim's lungs collapsed due to the multiple stab wounds.
