Thibodaux, LA - Thibodaux Mayor Tommy Eschete is asking residents to make final preparations for Tropical Storm Isaac.
The following is a press release from the City of Thibodaux:
THIBODAUX, LA - Mayor Tommy Eschete is asking all residents to finalize preparations for the potential that Tropical Storm Isaac will impact our area as soon as Wednesday, August 29, 2012. "Although we don't yet know the absolute track of the storm, we should be preparing our properties in the event we do experience hurricane conditions this week," states Mayor Eschete.
Please stay tuned to your local television stations, radio and the City's Website for upcoming forecasts and any advisories released by Lafourche Parish President Charlotte Randolph and the City.
Sand and sandbags are available for Thibodaux residents at the Public Works Department located at 1219 Henry S. Thibodaux Street. Residents are encouraged to bring their own shovel.
