Lafourche Parish:

Thibodaux residents can get sandbags at the Public Works Department located at 1219 Henry S. Thibodaux Street. Residents must bring shovels to fill bags.

St. John Parish:

Beginning at 10:00 a.m. today sand and bags are available at the following locations & must show proof of residency:

Fire Station #53 at 1703 St. Andrews Blvd. in LaPlace
Fire Station #94 at 1200 Hwy. 643 in Pleasure Bend
Fire Station #65 located at 337 Central Avenue in Reserve
Fire Station #71 at 418 Historic West St. in Garyville
Old Second Ward High School at 3671 Highway 18 in Edgard

Washington Parish:

Washington Parish officials tell FOX 8 news that residents will have sandbag filling available at the following locations beginning at 10:00 a.m. Monday:

Jefferson Parish actually doesn't issue sandbags. Jefferson Parish President John Young advises residents to find a vendor or store that sells sand (like Lowes).

St. Bernard Sheriff's Office to give out sandbags to parish residents or business from noon to 6 p.m. today at the rear of the Port of St. Bernard in Chalmette.
