Schools reopening Tuesday:

Nicholls State University

Park Place Barber School

St. Charles Parish Public Schools

St Bernard public schools

Bogalusa City Schools

Jefferson Parish (public) schools

Jefferson Parish (private) schools

Washington Parish: All schools will remain closed through the rest of the week.

Southeastern Louisiana University

LSU Health Sciences Center New Orleans and the LSU Healthcare Network

Northshore Technical Community College (NTCC)

University of New Orleans

Delgado Community College

Southern University System campuses

Recovery School District (RSD) and Orleans Parish School Board (OPSB)

St. Tammany Parish Public Schools and Offices

Most Catholic elementary and  high schools in the 8-civil parish area of the Archdiocese of New Orleans: (Jefferson, Orleans, Plaquemines, St. Bernard, St. Charles, St. John the Baptist, St. Tammany and Washington Parishes)

***NOTE*** St. Ann Catholic School in Metairie will remain closed Tuesday, due to electrical issues there.

Clark Preparatory High School) will reopen Tuesday.  Arthur Ashe Charter School will remains closed due to power outage, with a tentative reopening set for Wednesday.

Opening Wednesday:

Milestone SABIS Academy

Morris Jeff Community School

Einstein Elementary Charter, N.O. East - students should report by 8:00 a.m.

 

Opening Thursday:

International School of Louisiana (Orleans and Jefferson Campuses)

Archbishop Rummel High School will be closed Wednesday due to maintenance issues, and should reopen Thursday with an eight-period day.

Success Preparatory Academy

 

Opening Monday, September 10

Audubon Charter (Gentilly and Uptown Campuses)

Martin Behrman Charter Academy

ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST PARISH PUBLIC SCHOOLS: "All eastbank elementary schools and the two westbank schools will resume Monday, September 10th; specifically, this includes LaPlace Elementary, Garyville-Mt. Airy Magnet, East St. John Elementary, Fifth Ward Elementary, John L. Ory Magnet, Emily C. Watkins Elementary, St. John Alternative School, West St. John High, and West St. John Elementary. East St. John High and Lake Pontchartrain Elementary will both remain closed at this time. The district will also delay the opening of all PreKindergarten and Head Start classes at St. John Child Development Center. (At the time of this release, Emily C. Watkins Elementary still does not have its power restored.)"

In Plaquemines Parish, Phoenix High School, the Plaquemines Parish Learning Center, South Plaquemines Elementary School, South Plaquemines High School and Boothville Elementary School will reopen as soon as residents are allowed to return to their respective communities.
