Saints announce practice squad

Metairie, La. - Two days after finalizing their 53-man roster, the Saints have announced the eight players signed to their practice squad:

DE Braylon Broughton
LB Ezra Butler
G Ricky Henry
G Harland Gunn
TE Michael Higgins
CB Nick Hixson
S Jerico Nelson
WR Andy Tanner

Henry played with current Saints OT Marcel Jones at Nebraska before spending 2011 with the Bears. Gunn was signed in April by the Cowboys as an undrafted free agent out of Miami(FL).
