Baton Rouge, La. - FOX 8 Sports has learned that Tyrann Mathieu plans to enroll at LSU on Tuesday.

He has completed the first two stages of his rehabilitation in Houston under the guidance of John Lucas.  The third and final stage will be completed while he is a student.

The previous deadline to enroll at the university was Wednesday, Aug. 29 but that date was moved back as the school closed due to Hurricane Isaac.

Mathieu was dismissed from the football program on Aug. 10 by head coach Les Miles due to a violation of team policy.
