The Copeland family of restaurants to feed the Laplace community on Monday

Fox 8 received the following press release from Al Copeland Investments:

 

Copeland's of New Orleans and Copeland's Cheesecake Bistro to serve Red Beans, Rice with Sausage and French Bread, "A Monday Tradition" to those in need due to Hurricane Isaac in Laplace

 

Laplace, LA  – The Copeland Family of Restaurants has teamed up with St. John the Baptist Parish to feed those in need due to Hurricane Isaac.  

On Monday, September 10 the Copeland Family of Restaurants will be serving lunch from 11:00am to 2:00pm and dinner from 4:00pm to 7:00pm. Copeland's of New Orleans and Cheesecake Bistro by Copeland's will be stationed at 2020 W. Airline Highway in Laplace serving Red Beans and Rice with Sausage and French Bread.

"It is our goal to bring taste and tradition back to St. John the Baptist Parish by feeding those in need in these tough times," said Al Copeland Jr., Chairman of the Board for Al Copeland Investments. "Our restaurants have been serving red beans since 1983 and we serve them as a special on Monday's at our restaurants. We are eager to share this tradition and our passion for food to this community on their road to recovery."
