New Orleans, LA -- The New Orleans Saints fell to the Carolina Panthers 35-27 falling to 0-2, for the first time since 2007.
Saints fans packed local bars to support the boys and black and gold.
As the New Orleans Saints headed into week two of the NFL regular season, they were looking to redeem themselves after their season opening loss in the dome against the Washington, Redskins.
The boys in black and gold got off to a good start.
Quarterback Drew Brees completed all six passes for 55 yards on the Saints opening drive, including a 1 yard touchdown pass to Jimmy Graham.
But the Carolina Panthers took the lead, shaking the "Who Dat Nation."
"I think it's too early to panic, but I'm worrying. I think Drew Brees isn't playing up to his potential," says Saints Fan, Candice Clanton.
"It's apparent we miss our coach more than people realize. The tempo is not there. Apparently their missing that end game coaching that Coach Payton has," says Saints Fan, John Cressend.
"Who Dats" are confident that the boys in black and gold will give them a win next week.
"Fight like the people of New Orleans fight," says Clanton.
Pierre Thomas had 110 yards rushing for the Saints and Sproles had 13 receptions for 128 yards receiving.
The New Orleans Saints face the Kansas City Chiefs Sunday September 22 at the Mercedes Benz Superdome.
