Man arrested for possession of child pornography

New Orleans, La.—A New Orleans resident has been booked into the Orleans Parish Prison on one count of pornography involving juveniles, announced Louisiana Attorney General Buddy Caldwell.

Agents arrested 25-year-old James Waidell Ernest of 1433 Southlawn Blvd. on Thursday following a joint investigation involving the Attorney General's High Technology Crime and Fugitive Apprehension Units, Homeland Security Investigations and the NOPD.

Ernest is charged with violating a state law forbidding a person to produce, distribute, possess, or possess with the intent to distribute pornography involving juveniles.

If convicted, Ernest could face up to 20 years in prison.
