Brees' Dream Foundation gets $300,000 donation

The Drew Brees Dream Foundation has announced a new partnership with Best Buy and Samsung. The companies are contributing money raised through their community initiatives.

The companies gave Brees a $300,000 check Monday to help with the foundation and The Boys and Girls Club of Northeast Louisiana.

"That is to help with the education of children and helping to provide them with every opportunity to live a healthy and active lifestyle," said Brees.

The Boys and Girls Club of Northeast Louisiana will receive $30,000 of the donation. The group received a $25,000 check Monday. The other $5,000 will come from the sale of Samsung products in Best Buy stores.
