Saints QB Drew Brees on the NFL referee controversy

New Orleans, La. - Even Saints quarterback Drew Brees is speaking out about the controversial call at the end of the Green Bay-Seattle Game Monday night.

Brees tweeted, "I love this league and love the game of football, but tonight's debacle hurts me greatly. This is not the league we're supposed to represent."

In a second comment on twitter he makes a thinly veiled reference to the bounty scandal, "Ironic that our league punishes those based on conduct detrimental. Whose conduct is detrimental now."

Brees' allegiance with the Packers will be short lived. Sunday the Saints take on Green Bay in a game that will be aired on FOX 8 at 3:25 p.m.
