Plaquemines Parish, La.- Police arrested 25-year-old Nancy Herleikson of Chalmette for Braithwaite and authorities are asking help in identifying three others.

The Plaquemines Parish Sheriff's Office began investigating several looting incidents that began on September 20 in the 5500 block of Highway 39 in Braithwaite.

During the investigation, detectives located witnesses who identified Herleikson as being one of four individuals who stole property from several locations. The other three suspects have been described as two white males and one white female.

Air condition units, batteries from 4-wheelers and lawn tractors, clothing, dishes and an outboard boat motor were among property that was stolen.

The suspects were seen fleeing from the area in two pick-up trucks; one maroon in color and one gray in color.

Police say Herleikson was arrested without incident on October 2 in Chalmette by the St. Bernard Parish Sheriff's Office Patrol Division after they received an anonymous tip that Herleikson was at the residence.

Herleikson was transported to the Belle Chasse lock-up where she was booked with looting.  No bond has been set and she is set to appear in court on October 5.

Anyone with information on the three other suspects is urged to call Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111.
