FOX - The Dodge Dart is among four new vehicles in the U.S. to receive a top crash-test rating by an influential safety group.
Chrysler is betting that the Dart will become a top-selling small car. It is the first model jointly engineered and designed by Fiat and Chrysler group.
It joins the Hyundai Santa Fe, the Lexus ES 350 and the Subaru XV Crosstrek.
The rating by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety means that each vehicle performed well in test crashes evaluating front, side, and rear impacts as well as rollovers.
