JACKSON, Miss. (AP) - A woman who sued the city of Long Beach for being arrested while protesting the BP oil spill has filed an amended complaint that says police are retaliating against her.

Sandra Howard filed her lawsuit in 2011. It claims officers violated her constitutional rights by arresting her on June 12, 2010, as she protested on a public sidewalk.

The ACLU of Mississippi filed an amended complaint Friday in federal court in Gulfport. It says an officer appeared to video Howard when she protested at the same store exactly two years later.

Howard also claims she was pulled over July 25 for no reason by two different officers and arrested for refusing to get out of her car.

An attorney for the city says there's no merit to the claims.
