Pierre Part, La. – Police arrested three people for burglary to a home in the Landry subdivision of Pierre Part.
On September 29, police responded to a residential burglary and found the front door kicked in and the inside of the residence in total disarray.
The suspects attempted to break into a safe in the residence and fled the scene with a game console, some collectible gold coins and several alcoholic beverages.
Detectives were able to name and question several possible suspects and made the first arrest on October 4th. The second suspect turned himself in Friday. Both subjects gave detectives a complete confession of their involvement. Detectives also arrested a third person who is accused of helping them dispose of the stolen property.
Police arrested 17-year-old Jarvis Alleman, 17-year-old Trevis Ray and 18-year- old Joshua Kinkle in connection to this burglary. Alleman and Ray were both charged with one count of simple burglary and one count of simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling. Kinkle was charged with obstruction of justice.
It is believed that the suspects may have disposed of the stolen property before their arrest.
