KILN, Miss. (AP) - A judge is considering a bond reduction request from the Kiln man accused of assisting in the cover-up of a double murder last year.

The Sea Coast Echo reports that Hancock County Circuit Judge Larry Bourgeois heard the request this week from Jessie Adams.

Jessie Adams is charged with two counts of accessory after the fact, taking possession of a motor vehicle and possession of a firearm by a felon in connection with the slayings of Robert Criswell and Joshua Adams on June 3, 2011.

Authorities said the bodies of Criswell and Joshua Adams, both of Magnolia, were found June 4, 2011, near Abita Springs, La. Both had been shot in the head. Authorities believe they were killed at Schilling's mobile home in Kiln and the bodies dumped in Louisiana.

Prosecutors said Nicholas Schilling of Covington, La, is charged with two counts of murder in the case. He is being held without bond.

Jessica Falgout of Destrehan, La., also charged with accessory posted a $50,000 bond last year.

Prosecutors say after the slayings, Schilling, Adams, and Falgout allegedly tried to clean up the scene and then dispose of the bodies.

Jessie Adams, who authorities said is Joshua Adams' cousin, has been in jail since his arrest last July and is currently being held under a $600,000 bond.

Jessie Adams' attorneys told the judge that Adams' bond was too high considering the charges. Prosecutors said Adams has four charges, all of which are felonies.

Arraignments for the suspects are scheduled for next week.
