Houma, La.- Houma Police arrest a man in a shooting investigators say started as a case of domestic violence.
Officers say Henry Alldridge, Jr. became enraged when his girlfriend would not leave with him. They say he punched her repeatedly in the face, choked her and bit her on the neck.
When a 21-year-old man confronted Alldridge about the attack, they say Alldridge shot the man in the leg and fled the scene.
Alldridge is booked with attempted second degree murder for the shooting as well as an assortment of charges related to the attack on the woman, including domestic abuse battery by strangulation.
