New Orleans, La. - Touro Infirmary in New Orleans submitted its dance video for a chance to win $10,000 for the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
Health care organizations throughout the country participate in the annual Medline Pink Glove Dance Video Competition to raise awareness for breast cancer. The disease affects one in eight women in the U.S.
The video competition is sponsored by Medline, the manufacturer of pink gloves worn in hospitals throughout the U.S. each October. The video with the most votes wins the competition.
Medline will award the top three videos with a $10,000, $5,000 and $2,000 donation amounts to go to the breast cancer charity of its choice.
Voting begins Friday, October 12 at 12:00 p.m. To vote for Touro Infirmary's video, visit www.pinkglovedance.com and vote daily now through October 26.
