Police are investigating the deadly stabbing of a 37-year-old man in Central City.
FOX 8 News received this press release from NOPD Wednesday night:
The incident occurred this evening shortly before 7:00 P.M. in the 1900 block of Josephine Street. The name of the victim is being withheld pending notification of family members.
Officers located the victim lying inside his residence suffering from an apparent stab wound to the shoulder. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
Investigators are currently in the process of questioning a person of interest in the incident.
