NOPD: woman robbed at gunpoint as she exited her car

New Orleans, La. - An armed robber held up a woman Tuesday morning as she was getting out of her car on Bordeaux Street Uptown, police say.

It happened around 1am in the 1200 block of Bordeaux as the woman returned home from work.

Police say an unknown black male pointed a handgun at the victim and stated "Give me what you got". The victim gave the suspect her purse, cell phone, and Ipad.

The suspect then asked the victim "Is that your house?". The victim said yes.

Pointing the weapon at the victim, the suspect entered the residence and removed the victim's 32 inch flat screen television and fled the residence to an unknown location.
