METAIRIE, La. (AP) - Drew Brees says the Saints' offense is close to being where it needs to be.

New Orleans piled up 458 yards and scored 35 points against Tampa Bay on Sunday, but Brees also likes what has happened in the last three games.

The Saints scored five touchdowns in a six-possession span at Tampa Bay. Against San Diego, they scored two touchdowns and a field goal on their last three series before Brees took a knee on the final play. A week before that, they scored two touchdowns and kicked two field goals on four consecutive possessions against Green Bay.

Brees says the Saints feel "no matter what play is called, we're going to make it work and we have the opportunity to really make something happen."
