Lafourche Parish, La.- Police arrested 25-year-old Zachary Mire for having sexual contact with a juvenile under the age of 13.
Detectives arrested Mire on Wednesday following an investigation into the matter.
Through investigation, detectives learned Mire had sexual contact with a juvenile younger than 13 years of age.
Detectives brought Mire to the Criminal Operations Center in Lockport for questioning where he was later placed under arrest and charged with aggravated rape.
Mire is currently being held in the Lafourche Parish Detention Center in Thibodaux in lieu of $500,000 bond.
Further details are not be available on this case due to the victim being a juvenile and the nature of the allegations.
