New Orleans Police and the community gathered Friday for funeral services for New Orleans Police Lieutenant Chris Cambiotti.
Many arrived at St. Louis Cathedral for visitation.
The 15-year veteran of the department was killed in a car accident in Hattiesburg, Mississippi Saturday evening.
The mass was be followed by a motorcade past the First District station on North Rampart where Lt. Cambiotti worked as second in command.
All law enforcement in New Orleans was invited to join in the tribute by standing at attention as the motorcade passed by.
