NOPD seeks missing teen from Desire Street

FOX 8 News received this press release from NOPD Monday evening:

Police are asking the public's assistance in locating 14-year-old Darren Broomfield, who was last seen Friday October 26, 2012, around 4:30P.M., at his residence located in the 2200 block of Desire Street. 

Broomfield left the residence after a family dispute with his parents. This is the first time he has gone missing and has not been seen or heard from.

Darren Broomfield is described as an African American male, light skinned, thin build, Mohawk style haircut, 5'00" tall, weighing approximately 110 pounds. Broomfield was last seen wearing grey uniform pants and a black school sweater with a red "c" written on it....

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Darren Broomfield is asked to call the New Orleans Police Department at 821-2222.
