Chad Sabadie

Born in New Orleans, Sports Anchor Chad Sabadie joined Fox 8 in October of 2012 after working five years in Baton Rouge. The Pope John Paul II High School graduate grew up in Slidell before earning his Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communication from LSU's Manship School and then his Master's Degree in Journalism from USC's Annenberg School in Los Angeles.

Chad began his professional television career in 2005 as the Sports Director at WABG in Greenville, Mississippi before making a move to WBRZ in Baton Rouge. Working in south Louisiana, Chad has been fortunate to cover multiple Super Bowls, BCS National Championship games and the College World Series. Covering the Saints first Super Bowl victory in Miami tops the list!

From Saints and Pelicans, to LSU and Tulane to prep sports, Chad enjoys the variety and passion of our local teams and fans.

Chad and his wife Brooke have family all over the New Orleans area and look forward to the years ahead at WVUE.
