HAMMOND, La. (AP) - Mayor Mayson Foster says residents can expect to pay higher fees for solid waste pickup.
The Advocate reports Foster told the City Council this past week that rising fees at the Tangipahoa Parish landfill are the cause.
Foster said the new rate will be $12.03 per month, up from the current monthly charge of $11.42.
