New Orleans, La. - The NOPD is searching for a man they say sexually assaulted a woman Sunday night in an abandoned home.
Police say it happened around 9:45pm in the 2200 block of Oretha Castle Haley.
The suspect attempted to sexually assault a woman, but she was able to fend him off and escape.
The suspect then walked over to a second woman and told her the first victim was waiting on her in an abandoned lot in the 2100 block of Oretha Castle Haley.
He then sexually assaulted victim 2 and fled in an unknown direction.
The subject is believed to be a homeless black male that "lives" under the interstate at Oretha Castle Haley and Calliope.
