New Orleans, La.- Police are asking for the public's assistance in locating the gunman who shot a man Saturday morning at the intersection of Decatur and Bienville Street.
Investigators say about 2:15 a.m., the victim's family member was involved in a fight at a nearby club.
The victim began walking towards Bienville Street towards the river when one of the subjects involved in the fight began to fire multiple shots at the victim striking him in the buttocks.
Police say the victim's injuries are non-life threatening.
The perpetrator is described as a black male, approximately 5'9" tall with a slim build, medium complexion. He was last seen wearing a dark shirt and blue jeans.
